Uttar Pradesh MP CM Brajesh Pathak Receives Patient Feedback on Healthcare Facilities | Lucknow News

LUCKNOW: Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak gathered feedback from 330 patients in 33 days during the ‘Swasthya Aapka Sankalp Hamara’ campaign launched on June 22 to improve the healthcare system.
During the campaign, patients made suggestions for improvement in emergency departments and told him about how healthcare facilities have changed since he started collecting feedback. As part of the campaign, Pathak collects daily feedback by phone from 10 patients – admitted to hospitals and visiting DPOs – from five districts. For this purpose, contact details of patients were communicated to him. Thereafter, he made random calls to 10 patients.
In about 33 days, the Deputy CM interacted with patients in Ballia, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Banda, Kanpur, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Hapur, Chandauli, Barabanki, Meerut, Basti, Gorakhpur, Hathras and Kannauj.
Most of the patients informed him that they received free treatment and doctors examined them in time. Only eight patients told him they had to wait a long time for medications, OPD tickets and pathology tests. Pathak gave instructions to increase counters for OPD, pathology sample collection, and drug dispensing. He also ordered hospitals to be on their toes and that there should be no shortage of emergency medicine. “The government is going to widen the scope of taking feedback,” specifies the Dy CM.
